Ronan Byrne founder member of highly acclaimed Dublin Band ‘Lir’ established Earthquake Hair developing a unique infectious style of music. Their Debut album ‘Upper Volta’ is highly regarded and plans are underway for a 2nd album along with a number of film projects through 2026. Current members include Pete Cheevers on bass, Kieran Doyle on keyboards, Paul Bermingham on Drums, with recent additions Dave Griffin on Guitar, Elizabeth Bukola oki on Vocals and Sile Ryan on strings adding a new dimension to the sound.

Earthquake Hair is an acclaimed Dublin-based rock band fronted by Ronan “Ro” Byrne, a founding member of the popular 1990s Irish band Lir. Known for a unique and infectious blend of styles ranging from folk-tinged rock to quasi-progressive elements, they have built a dedicated live following across Dublin.
