Irish musician André Bangala known by his stage name Rocstrong on stage is hard to pigeon hole. The genre-bending Dubliner’s sound covers multi genres ranging from Funk, to Indie-pop, Electro Pop and is gradually becoming one of the outstanding performers on the Irish music scene.

His first single ‘Go ‘Head’, described as "a multi-faceted effervescent spark that is simply not present in much of Irish Music" (Nialler9) received lots of praises at home and abroad. ‘The ever-cool newcomer dropped his debut extended play, SOWYG in summer 2016, which boldly told the music world he’d arrived on the scene’ (the Thin Air).

He combines elements of Hip Hop, Funk and Pop and at his breath taking shows and displays an air of confidence which rightly fits his motivational anthems such as Go Head and SOWYG (Show Off What You Got). ‘His voice grooves and swaggers through bold and daring melodies, bringing spirit to the music he creates’ (the Thin Air). He has been tipped as one of the artists to watch out for in 2017.

Rocstrong gears up for 2017 with lots of new music on the way as he plans to release two projects on either side of the summer. His first single of 2017 entitled I Gotcha in out in March 2017.
