We are delighted to bring you the Hogan’s summer single, ahead of the release of their highly anticipated new album ‘BRING ME THE NOISE’.
Listen to ‘Now that Summer’s Here’
Hogan has become a radio programmers dream over the last 18 months, producing some of the most radio friendly tracks by Irish bands in recent years. “No, No, No”, “Closer”, “Gimme Love” and “All Because of You” have all enjoyed success on the airwaves and its easy to hear why. Not ones to break tradition, ‘Now That Summer’s Here’ is the perfect blend of pop vocals with a feel good summer vibe.
The new album, ‘Bring Me The Noise’, which has been over two years in the making, is scheduled for release in September 2015.
For this single Hogan has once again teamed up with producer Greg Haver who has done great work with such powerhouses as Manic Street Preachers and Super Furry Animals among many others.
Midlands based Mark, Wayne & Ronan (Hogan) are no strangers to the live circuit, after all it is where the band is happiest together. Over the past few years the band has played a number of national tours, and have sold out shows at both the Academy and Whelans in the past 18 months alone. In addition, the guys have played support to some of their most esteemed peers such as The Riptide Movement, Walking on Cars and Bressie just to name a few.
Outside of Ireland, Hogan has already built a strong fan base in Germany through consistent visits to the market for headline shows, and festivals. In both 2013 and 2014 the band was invited to China for a ten-day festival tour and in 2014 they also expanded to Dubai as well as the prestigious ‘Music Matters’ festival in Singapore which is considered the SXSW of Asia.
“We love to travel”, says Mark. “We love to gig and we love to write songs. Being able to travel feeds all three passions, and sometimes can provide interesting inspiration for the songwriting element too.”
With their album ‘Bring Me The Noise’ almost ready, the band is looking forward to getting back out on the road and covering as much ground as possible over the coming months!
